Barbara has worked in administrative roles in various healthcare sites since 1992. These include BC Children's Hospital, BC Women's Hospital, BC Cancer Agency and finally St. Paul's Hospital where she has worked for the past 10 years. She has a passion for organization and efficiency and  has been instrumental in creating streamlined office procedures and processes, as well as helping to create and implement clinical tools to not only assist the team but also improve the patient's clinical experience i.e. Cambian patient platform, website and patient events.  She is also a certified personal trainer and in the past has  enjoyed running bootcamps.  She hopes to resume this work post retirement.  She is married with two grown daughters, two granddoggies and recently became a grandmother to a precious little girl. When she isn't  working she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking with her husband, baking, knitting, hiking, camping and travelling abroad.  Her favorite destinations so far have been Japan, Galapagos Islands, Amazon Jungle,  Thailand and visiting the Great Wall of China.. She is grateful to call Vancouver her home and Maui her home away from home where her very dear friends reside.
